Lamb tikka kebabs

These exquisite lamb kebabs will excite all walks of life.

Ingredients / serves 4

  • 500 g lamb leg, cubed
  • 2 tbsp tandoori paste
  • 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp ginger puree
  • 1 tsp garlic puree
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 long cucumber
  • 3 bulbs spring onion
  • 3 red radishes
  • 1 cup coriander leaves


Combine yoghurt, tandoori paste, ginger, garlic and lemon juice for marinade. Trim lamb of any fat and place in marinade for two hours.
Halve tomatoes and cut capsicum into 3cm squares. Place on skewers along with lamb and barbecue for about 5 minutes or until each side is cooked.
Meanwhile, thinly slice the cucumber into long ribbons, slice the spring onion length ways and the radishes into rounds and gently toss in a bowl with the coriander.
Toss gently with salt, pepper, a squeeze of lemon juice and a tsp. of extra virgin olive oil. Serve with lamb.
